Very simple, and it allows you to cheaply impress any audience with the guitar solo. - When you see a bar, in the solos, with a strange rythm (with blanks !!) it's a transcription of 4 notes in triple time (4:3) : instead of playing three notes you manage to cram four notes in one beat. You have to do it with a hammer on/pull off progression. You only hit the first note (as in the intro of Make like Paper). If you want to hit other notes, it's up to you (I hit the last one too).
